May 15, 2006 Hiding a menu option in VB6 - VB 6 forum - developer Fusion well basically i have created a menu and called it mnuUserInfo and then in my form if according to the database the user if an administrator then i would like the menu visable and if not then its hidden. however in the form that i wnt it present in teh only properties for the form which it is showin is 'Count', 'Item', 'LBound', 'UBound'. however in other forms in the same project it is saying How do you hide the file menu bar in Windows Explorer It isn't the menu bar - the menu bar is what pops up when you press the Alt key. It is the Ribbon. There are two programs to disable it: OldNewExplorer and Ribbon Disabler. The latter officially supports only Windows 8 and works by modifying system files anyways, hence is not recommended.
