The WAP54G should be accessible from a wired connection while it's wired to your network. It will only repeat the signals of a WRT54G or a WAP54G.

Feb 05, 2011 · OK, the WRT54G doesn't support a guest password. But if a guest is using his/her computer, then your data and your computer will be fine. Also, make sure your wireless network is secured, so when a guest try to connect to your wireless network, will be asked for the network password.

I started by installing wrt54gv2 v24 rc6.2 mini through the Linksys web interface and then after I got that installed I used the new dd-wrt mini interface to install wrt54gv2 v24rc6.2 standard generic.
